Serco and Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital entered into a Partnership Agreement on Sunday 8th July 2018 to transform facilities management services at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital (DSFH) in Jeddah for the next 5 years. Serco has been working with DSFH for 6 months to design new service methodology, bringing its knowledge of international best practice and technology in specialist Healthcare Facilities Management. This is a great opportunity for both Serco and DSFH to benefit patient experience in Jeddah by working together to bring new service methodologies, ways of working and technology to the Healthcare sector in Saudi Arabia. The agreement covers 12 facilities management service lines and it is anticipated that these new methods of working will result in improved performance management, a 30% decrease in reactive maintenance and a 20% improvement in asset availability. The agreement was signed by Mr. Sanjay Shah (Executive Vice President, DSFH) and Ahmed ElHouri (General Manager, Serco Middle East) in the presence of Mr. Philip Hammond, the Chancellor of the Exchequer of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
